Life is so unpredictable, it can be so brutal, some of our life experiences are too harsh leaving us down and disappointed sometimes , some of our experiences are so magical and so surreal leaving us motivated and so full of life , Sometimes we feel so stagnant because there are no milestones to tick off the list and we feel useless . I real believe that 2019 has given us a whole lot of experiences that were good and bad. I do not know where you are right now but I want you to have a grateful heart that is full of optimism because you are alive and have a chance to encounter all life experiences that are working to make you, there are lessons to be learned from all that life put us through:
2019 started off on the wrong foot as she got sick, consultations with different doctors were made several times which led her to be admitted to a day hospital, blood tests were done and x-rays taken. In a hospital theater a procedure was performed on her and she woke up to drive herself back home, her niece and the house helper were there, God used them to show her His unconditional love.
Prayer meetings started courageously, most members attended, testimonies were shared and the group praised God together and appreciated God for doing amazing things in their individual lives, Home visits were done to encourage group members and to make them feel that they were not alone. Financial contributions were done to those who needed them, Life was good and promising up until unforeseen tragedy happened that led to the prayer group not meeting as often as they used to, which led to the group not meeting for a couple of months.
She managed to further develop her property though it happened later in 2019 and left her with close to no money in the bank, but she is happy that it happened and it is a good investment, and having bought some shares in property development makes her proud.
Family conflicts seem to revisit now and again , she wishes she could find a cure for this sickness, sometimes she wishes to just pack and leave, how easy that will be, but then she realizes that we are born to our families and communities for a reason, actually it is to fulfil a higher purpose. Instead of complaining she resorted to serve and to be a vessel of hope and inspiration to those that are around her. She has learnt not to succumb to the pressures of family conflicts and make those fierce decisions that will serve everyone because she is a servant after all.
As grateful as she is with her work because God blessed her with it, and He continues to shine her light brighter in this space. She has managed to acquire a lot of tangible and visible things with her monthly income. Her workspace can be so toxic sometimes, in a way that she has to remind herself regularly why she is there, this has been a conscious decision so that she can be as effective as possible.
Her social life has been a challenge for most of her life, actually there was a point when she thought there is something seriously wrong with her because she could not secure long-term relationships. But as she grew in the Lord and getting to understand herself better, she learnt that all of her experiences are meant to align her with her destiny, she is not being arrogant but she has learnt to appreciate and embrace relationships that are formed and dissolved. She was meant not to walk with the crowds. In 2019 God blessed her with a friend, already they have done a couple of successful projects together.
Her spiritual life continues to grow. In the bible, the book of John 6:68 says “Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”, that is where she is spiritual. God taught her a lot about faith this year, faith that grows and be able to bear fruits that are tangible and visible. That faith is able to move her from dimension to dimension and allows her to engage in things that are out of her comfort zone. Now the emphasis is on her relationship with the Holy Spirit who was promised to lead the people of God into all truth.
Looking into her life holistically, she is grateful for the gift of life.
Dear Reader,
As you read this article, I pray that you may open your spiritual eyes and begin to open your soul and look beyond the horizon, now allow your soul to explore those territories that are untouched. As you tap into that realm, listen and listen carefully, and do as you are told.
Hebrews 13:5 ………… “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
